Here is a chance for you to make science most fun for our children by volunteering to translate and illustrate Science books in Tamil.

Volunteers needed to

  • design and translate 24 Isaac Asimov books in Tamil, each with 5 chapters and around 30 pages.
  • design at least 1 illustration per chapter, i.e., 5 per book.
  • proof-read at least 10-12 books.
  • translating a new set of Perelman’s series on “Physics for entertainment”.

Marina Runnerz Marathon 2017 | Chennai

Volunteers needed for Marina Runnerz Marathon 2017 (www.marinarunnerz.com). The proceeds from the run will be distributed to Sankara Nethralaya (www.sankaranethralaya.org), Adyar Cancer Institute (www.cancerinstitutewia.in) & Viswajayam Foundation (www.viswajayam.org) working for Health.

iVolunteer invites you to find out how much you know, can learn and share the basics of the Constitution of India in a lovely volunteering activity.

On 5th February 2017, Sunday from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM at Arunodhaya for Street Children, Shelter Home, in RR Nagar, Kodungaiyur, Chennai. We’re taking a step towards actively sharing information on the fundamental rights and duties of an Indian citizen, among the youth and the children of Chennai.

The objective of this engagement is to engage the volunteers and children of not for profit organisation and schools to describe the importance of all the six fundamental rights through role play, quiz, narration and so on. We are looking for volunteers who have knowledge on the given topic and will be able convey the message.
